CIX VFR Club Events - Birthday Bash

Overview	The February 2018 Event will be a live Airshow by our 2-4-CIX Display teams using JoinFS.
Start Time and Place	This event will take place on Wednesday 7th February at RAF Fairford EGVA . Assemble in Teamspeak from 7:30 p.m. for the first display at 8:00 p.m. (local time UK). Get the IP address for JoinFS from Teamspeak and use JoinFs to connect to the display.
Pre-Event Preparation	In the days before the event you'll need to do some preparation: Make sure you have JoinFS version 1.4.3 or later installed and know how to use it (join a practice session for one of the teams if you want to try it out). Go to This Page and download the following aircraft Spectator and chair (for spectators) TIGERS display aircraft (install smoke files as instructed in the download - NEW SMOKE FILES) CHIPS display aircraft (install smoke files as instructed in the download - NEW SMOKE FILES) CATS display aircraft (install smoke files as instructed in the download - NEW SMOKE FILES) 2-4-CIX SPIT 2-4-CIX HURI 2-4-CIX LANC 2-4-CIX B17 2-4-CIX P51 Start FSX/P3D, start JoinFS and select File/Scan for models, if it doesn't automatically prompt you on loading. Then you should see the correct aircraft. Then connect to the Network with the "Join" button and the IP address given on TeamSpeak.
Spectators Viewing Area	Spectators should position themselves north of the runway and in the open area to the west end.
Weather	Use the JoinFS facility to take the weather from Peter Memmott. Peter will set the weather to nil wind and clear skies. (View - Aircraft - click on Peter's entry on the list, then click on the "copy weather" button.)
